Couples class

John Jay and Corrie are starting a new monthly class called “Marriage is _____.” This class is open to couples of all types, whether married, engaged, just started dating, straight or gay, or single folks wanting to learn more about healthy intimate relationships. We are going to talk about all the stuff, especially the stuff no one wants to be honest about. Marriage is tough, even when you both like each other. Throw in a global pandemic, and you might be feeling at the end of your rope. So, we have some stuff to talk about together. Sex, money, families of origin, fighting, trauma, sex again, first years of marriage, death and divorce. If you are in a relationship, make plans to participate in this class. Each of us has things to learn from one another and wisdom to share. If your marriage is healthy, then come tell us what you have discovered. If your relationship is frayed, then you need a community to help bring sanity and healing into your family. We need each other.

Begins February 27th at 5pm in the Parlor of First Baptist Church of Pasadena at 75 N Marengo Ave 91101. Parking is validated when using the Holly St garage. Come in through the gate on Marengo. This is a monthly class, usually gathering on the second Sunday evening of each month from 5-6:30 pm. Childcare is provided.
