I shared this audio ahead of our Sunday liturgy regarding the pain in this moment and the ways we will posture our church in these days. Since then we helped organize a protest in collaboration with local churches and faith leaders from many religious traditions.

We are going to be shifting a significant amount of our energies to the work of confession and action around racial justice. We believe this is the work of the Spirit, pushing us forward into healing and hope. It will not be easy work, but it will be good. We must trust God more than our desire to be right, because we have been wrong for long enough. I hope you will join us in this work together.
