In celebration of Black History Month, we want to call forward the Black voices who have shaped our faith tradition. Some of them are friends of ours today and know our local context well; others have contributed to the ways the Baptist tradition at large has emerged over time. We hope that by engaging with these voices, we will better understand our own faith and calling in light of the ways they compel us to live by the gospel. There is much wisdom, truth, and perspective to be heard in each of their contributions. We will be sharing these voices in a variety of ways, and we pray that you will set aside time each week to give them your attention.
