This page will contain the essentials you need to know about the unfolding wildfire crisis. Below is our first audio update from Pastor John Jay.

If you are in crisis and/or need to find shelter, call/text Sally at 323-702-2582. We are running a pretty full church building for folks from our church and community. We are also helping coordinate host homes for displaced folks. Thank you to everyone who has stepped up already.

As of now all regular programing is suspended, but we pray that we can gather on Sunday, January 19th. I suppose we will gather to worship as a sheltered community on January 19th regardless! But we would love to see one another and hug each other, so stay tuned.

We intend to update you daily on this page, and will send a text/email when we do.

We know that some families in our church have already lost their homes to the wildfires, and we will have more to share as is appropriate. So far we have not heard of anyone who is stranded or without shelter connected to our community.

Also, we have something like 25 dogs/cats in the building. If ever this building felt like an ark, it is now. Be safe. Make sure you take time to take a breath and say a prayer and blessing. Now, as always, we are…
