Giving Needs during the virus crisis

Many of you already have a healthy proactive practice of giving online through your phone or computer. Brilliant! You can continue to give with no interruption during this season of suspended public gatherings. Many of you rely on the time of offering in our worship service, and prefer giving by check. If you would like to shift your giving to a digital method, you can begin that process below. If you still wish to give by check, you can mail your offering to 75 N Marengo Ave, Pasadena ,CA 91101. We anticipate needing many of you to step up in this season, since there will be others in our community who cannot continue to give through this crisis. Thank you for your generous financial support as we continue to do the work of our church in this strange moment.

God’s kingdom is the place of abundance where every generous act overflows its original bounds and becomes part of the unbounded grace of God at work in the world.
— Henri Nouwen

Generosity is the engine of the universe. In the Trinitarian vision of God, generosity is an ever-flowing movement of grace and love, which extends out to all of creation. Our own generosity is born out of an awareness that our lives are received as gifts from God. We are not self-made. Therefore we hold our possessions lightly, so they might be turned loose for the help and healing of the world. When you give to the ministry budget of FBC Pasadena, you make possible the work and worship which keep our community unique and purposeful.
