Thriving At home
These are strange days, and we know that being home for hours on end can make us all a little stir-crazy. We hope this page gives you (all of you—kids, youth, and adults!) some access to fun resources online and a place to share anything that’s working for you! Stay tuned for more original content coming from us.

ABC NATURE WALK Walk around outside and try to find things for each letter of the alphabet. If you have a spray bottle or water gun, you could squirt each item you find within reach (because water is good for nature!).
PUT ON AN OUTDOOR CONCERT Do you play an instrument or have a beautiful voice? If you can keep a safe distance, put on a little concert for your neighbors from your porch or driveway, or open the windows while you play inside!
COSTUME MOVIE NIGHT Watch a movie and dress in costume!
YOUNG CHEF If you have kids, let them plan and cook dinner with as little help as possible.
COOKIE MONSTER/SHARER Bake some cookies; then eat some and deliver some to a neighbor (practicing safe distance and handling!).
PHOTO WALK Grab a camera or a phone and go on a walk. Take pictures of all the things you notice that make you feel something (joy, wonder, awe, etc.). Then share them with someone and ask them what they feel about each photo.
MOVIE FORT Watching movies is super fun, but they are even more fun if you want them from a comfy fort! Build a special viewing fort with blankets, pillows, and anything else you like!
MAKE AN OBSTACLE COURSE Use everyday items (like a step stool to crawl under, a laundry basket to hop over, plastic cups as cones to run around) to set up an obstacle course in your house or the driveway. See if you can improve your time while getting some exercise in a fun way!
