Good Friday
Join us tonight for our Good Friday service, 6pm in the Chapel. This reflective service features the reading of scripture, our FBCP Choir, and a silent recession out of the Chapel as we reflect on Christ’s death on the cross. Childcare will be provided for nursery-aged children.
Easter Sunday, starting with flowers 🌸
Snip and bring in some flowers from all around the city! Attach the flower(s) to the FBCP Cross when you enter the park on Union St. for brunch at 10am on Easter morning, March 31st. For information about parking and where activities are happening, see this map.
Easter Brunch
We will celebrate Easter Sunday on March 31st beginning with a potluck brunch and mariachi band at 10am in the gym on Union St! Based on your last name, if you’re able, we’re asking you to bring about 10 servings of something savory (A-Q) or sweet/fruit (R-Z) to eat and share with your friends here. Due to the potential for rain, food will be set up in the Fellowship Hall next to the kitchen. If you have allergies, keep an eye out for a table dedicated to allergy-sensitive dishes (gluten-free, vegan, etc).
Egg Hunt
Pastors Lindsay and Mary are planning an egg hunt for the kids during the Easter Brunch! Our first egg hunt will happen at 10:30am for kids 6 years old and younger. At 10:45am, we will have an egg hunt for kids ages 7-10 years old/5th grade. Due to the potential for rain, these egg hunts will take place in the nursery (one floor above the gym). Bring an Easter basket from home if you have one, and we will have some available for anyone who wants one.
Easter Worship Service
Our Easter worship service will follow the brunch and starts at 11am with the children joining us for service to celebrate Christ’s resurrection. Nursery care will be provided for ages four and under.
