Sunday
The Friends In Deed food pantry item for this week is canned fruit. Thank you for the buyer’s choice items that came in today.
For the four Sundays of Advent, we will open the Chapel from 9am to 10am for quiet prayer. You are invited to spend time reflecting and praying, on your own or with one of our prayer team members.
Continuing TODAY, after service, you can sign up for a child's name and pick up gift information at the Connections Desk to participate in the Friends In Deed Christmas for the Kids gift drive. Unwrapped gifts should be dropped off at the church no later than Sunday, December 14th, and they should include the child's name and family number. Talk to Shawn with any questions.
Join us for our annual Hanging of the Greens after worship November 30th! We’ll have lunch first before turning up the Christmas music and getting to work.
Following a two-week hiatus, Monday noon Bible Study in the Parlor is back on! We’ll dive into our advent study through Isaiah 40, starting December 1st. Bring your lunch, a paper bible, and your questions for Pastors John Jay and Riley.
Parents, mark your calendars for next Sunday, December 7, for our monthly park hangout! After service, grab some take-out (or bring a picnic from home) and meet with other families in the park. We will be hanging out from 12:15 to 1:30pm.
Parents’ Night Out is coming up next Friday, December 12! Parents can drop off their kids ages 2 - 14 from 6-9pm in the Nursery. We’ll have some snacks, light dinner, and games for the kids, and parents will get to shop, have dinner in Old Town, or just have quiet time at home. Let Pastor Andrew know if you plan to take advantage of this great opportunity! You can email Andrew here.
Save the date–Sunday, December 14th at 6p.m., for our 82nd Annual Candlelight Carol Service! This moving celebration of the Advent season is a favorite event here at FBC. If you’re able, please plan to bring your favorite cookies to share at our cookie and hot cider reception after the service.
