Sunday
The Friends In Deed food pantry item for this week is Buyer’s Choice.
For the final Sunday of Advent, the Chapel will again be open from 9am to 10am for quiet prayer. You are invited to spend time reflecting and praying, on your own or with one of our prayer team members.
Monday noon Bible Study will be on Christmas Break hiatus. We will resume on January 5th in the Parlor.
Please plan to join us for our Christmas Eve Service, at 6p.m. on the 24th. This is an intimate service in the Chapel. We end with singing Silent Night as we gather together on Marengo Ave. Childcare will be provided for nursery-aged children. Please let Andrew know if you will need childcare for your children 0-4 years old by clicking here.
We will have a limited number of parking passes for our Holly Street garage for the January 1st Rose Parade. Please email Kathy in the office at kathy@fbcpasadena.com by Wednesday, December 24 to reserve a pass.
We invite those in our congregation who haven’t yet found a small group to join, to get in on the fun and close community! Text the word “small” to 626-727-9498 to start getting plugged in. You can also speak to Pastor Chip with questions or email him at chip@fbcpasadena.com.
Save the date! We’ll be taking down the greens on Sunday, January 4 after worship service, and everyone is invited to join the fun!
FBCPride is planning a church-wide potluck lunch for Sunday, January 11 after service. Email Chip with questions and stay tuned for more details!
Our next Basics Lunch will be on Sunday, January 18 right after service. New-ish folks wanting an in-depth introduction to FBCP are invited to join Pastor John Jay for lunch and a fun and informative deep dive.
The Pasadena Homeless Count is coming up, and Pastor Chip is putting together a team to participate in this critical event. The Count will take place on January 21st and 22nd, and a training is required prior to the event. Talk to Pastor Chip for more details and to get an idea of how the Count works, or email him at chip@fbcpasadena.com.
