  • The Friends In Deed food pantry item for this week is cereal. 

  • The yarn craft group will meet Sunday, January 11th after service in the Parlor.  Bring your lunch and current project if you have one.  No experience necessary!

  • The Center for Restorative Justice is hosting an installation titled, “Lighthouses," featuring images by Yemi Seyi, a local artist. The collection archives the aftermath of the fires and ongoing recovery. The opening event will take place today from 2-4 pm in the Center’s space on the 3rd floor. You’ll also be able to visit the installation through January 28 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 11am and 6pm.

  • Join us for our next church wide Pride gathering  on Sunday, January 18 after service on the Southside room. Bring a dish to share for lunch and plan for lively discussion around your table! Text “pride” to 626-727-9498.

  • Our next Basics Lunch will be on Sunday, January 18 right after service in the Parlor. New-ish folks wanting an in-depth introduction to FBCP are invited to join Pastor John Jay for lunch and a fun and informative deep dive. Text “basics” to 626-727-9498 to sign up.

  • Heads-up! There will be road closures around Pasadena on Sunday, January 18 for the Rose Bowl Half Marathon and 5k. 

  • The next Red Cross blood drive held here at church is coming up on Sunday, February 1, from 8am to 2pm.  See Marcie in the lobby after service to sign up, or pick up a flyer and sign up online.  As a thank-you, all blood donors will receive a $20 e-gift card to a merchant of their choice.     Monday Bible study has returned! We meet at noon in the Parlor.
