Hi, Friends!
I hope you were able to experience Easter in a meaningful way on Sunday. I know for some it was really hard to be cooped up and away from all of our Easter traditions, and that is fair. I pray, though, that the hope of the resurrection roots itself more deeply in your heart during this crazy season. We are here to hold onto hope with you!
We have two videos to share with our kids this week. The first is a heartfelt message from Callie, one of our awesome Family Ministry volunteers. She was inspired to make a little greeting after seeing all the kids on their Easter video.
The second is a special music video created by Michael, another fabulous Family Ministry team member. It's full of fun hidden talents we didn't know Michael even had!

New Wonders
Free Bob Ross Lessons
That's right! Bob Ross is posting all of his painting lessons for free, and you can access them here. (Fun Fact: For those of you who don't know/remember, John Jay has a Bob Ross wig; it's his go-to costume for Halloween and such.)
Virtual National Park Tours
Okay, this site is super cool! You can check out the beauty and wonder of National Parks through some amazing virtual tours. It includes 360° video and the chance to follow rangers as they journey through the parks. Warning: You could get lost exploring this site for hours!
Scholastic Learning Page
Scholastic Learn at Home provides day-by-day projects to keep kids reading, thinking and growing. You can choose a grade level from pre-K to 9th grade. Each grade level includes week-by- week activities, including videos, think sheets and imaginative play games.
Art Hub: Origami and More
This site has all kinds of origami for kids, plus painting and drawing lessons. It's an art hub for kids and full of great ideas.

This Sunday Pastor Mary and I are excited to bring you a video about what happened after Easter morning. It will be a fun time to learn what Jesus chose to do after he rose from the dead—after all, he could have done anything he wanted! We can't wait to explore the story with you. Keep In Touch (safely!)
Pastor Mary and I will continue to reach out to families and make sure you have what you need, but we are always a phone call, text, or email away! We can pray, tell you a joke, figure out a way to get you supplies, entertain your child so you can drink some coffee—whatever you need. You also will be hearing from someone else in the church who is one of our Connection Team leaders, and they are eager to come alongside you as well.
